Improvements to the environmental credentials of our best selling degreaser
We are pleased to announce we have made improvements to the environmental credentials of our best selling degreaser! We have been working with our partners at Ideal Manufacturing to improve the environmental credentials of our best selling Green Orange Eco-Friendly Degreaser. By removing benzalkonium chloride (a bactericidal agent that was not core to the functionality of the product) and slightly reducing the percentage of essential oil (used to provide the orange fragrance), we have been able to remove the H412 hazard to aquatic life warning previously included in the COSHH statement.

Now Stocking A Larger Range of Recycled Hand Towels
We have extended our recycled hand towel range to include different types for different dispensers. We are now stocking interfold as well as Z fold recycled hand towels. The handtowels are made from 100% recycled drinks cartons and unbleached, giving the towels their natural colour. They are FSC and EU Ecolabel certified. The paper is recycled from cardboard used in drinks cartons that may otherwise have ended up in landfill.

These are called Bluple Nitrile Gloves and they do not take an extended period to biodegrade using BDG technology. So what is BDG technology? BDG technology integrates the existing manufacturing process with compromising product quality. It comprises of an organic addictive to accelerate the biodegradation rate of gloves in biologically active landfills. How does it work? BDG is a 'food source' specially formulated to attract microbes found in landfills. When bacteria consume the BDG they excrete and enzyme that dissolves and de-polymerises the polymer chain. The process called mineralisation allowing the microbes to break down the remaining polymer naturally, leaving behind only biogas, eater and inert soil.
