Great News! We have adjusted the make up of our glass and dish detergent products to reduce the concentration of sodium hydroxide and balance this out with more sustainable non-corrosive agents. Sodium hydroxide is a common ingredient in many cleaning products, particularly those designed for heavy-duty cleaning and degreasing. But it is a corrosive and so harmful to humans and products, which is why we’ve been eager to change our solution for some time.

In addition to this, we now provide a closed loop supply on these products as well as the accompanying rinse aid and our window and glass cleaner,  for our van delivery customers – collecting and refilling empty containers!

Closed-loop systems are designed to create a circular flow of resources by ensuring that products are reused, recycled, or repurposed at the end of their lifecycle. In the context of Green My Business, our closed-loop system involves the collection, cleaning and refilling of 5L and 25L containers. Unlike traditional linear models where plastic is discarded after a single use, closed-loop systems aim to minimize waste and maximize resource efficiency. This not only reduces the strain on natural resources but also minimizes the harmful environmental impacts associated with plastic production and disposal.
