Founded in 1980, Ideal was established to manufacture commercial laundry products in an environmentally friendly and sustainable way. With the environmental impact bearing part of every decision made, Ideal are focused on introducing alternative sustainable formulations and developing solutions for green technologies such as wet cleaning. We’ve established a great partnership with Ideal who are working with us to provide a closed loop service for our own cleaning products in the very near future. This will augment the closed loop service that we provide for dishwasher products.
Delphis
Delphis Eco are a B Corp certified company that are proud to manufacture their products in the UK. Manufacturing since 2007, their products are derived from plants, biodegradable and packaged in recycled plastic. They are highly effective, safe to use and environmentally friendly. Delphis are committed to reducing waste, pollution and natural resource depletion at every stage. (As eco-friendly manufacturers go, we think they’re pretty great.)
We offer a range of Delphis products, including the foaming descaler, natural disinfectant, the air neutraliser (the best product for loos and washrooms) and their popular foaming oven cleaner.
The Straw Brothers
The Straw Brothers set upon establishing a business that solved two problems in one. Wanting to manufacture eco-friendly products that wouldn’t end up in landfill and finding that paper straws had to be sourced from China, they set upon manufacturing paper straws in the UK. After many iterations and improvements, they came up with a solution involving 4 ply paper, making “the world’s strongest straw” which are robust and don’t turn mushy and fall apart as soon as they are used. Eco-friendly manufacturers in the truest sense, in their own words, they are ” not just providing a paper straw, we’re offering a sustainable and superior solution for your straws drinks needs.”
Ecotech
Manufacturers of natural and compostable products, EcoTech’s main mission is introducing environmentally responsible and planet friendly cleaning cloths to the world. Focused on offering Envirowipe products, which are produced from natural materials are fully compostable, recyclable packaging.
EcoTech’s alternative to the standard Jcloth is the especially popular compostable cleaning cloth which we sell individually and in the popular packs of 10.
Helping Out Mother Earth
Ok, so these eco-friendly manufactures aren’t strictly UK based but we love what it stands for and how they present themselves as a natural alternative to traditional sponges. (which, we don’t need to tell you, are dreadful for the planet.)
These natural fibre sponges, created from wood cellulose and coconut fibre do a fantastic job at a wide variety of cleaning tasks. Being biodegradeable, these sponges outlast 30 rolls of paper towels and will biodegrade naturally at end of life.
